FIFA GUARANTEES K600,000 TO EVERY PLAYER AT WOMEN’S WORLD CUP THIS JULY.

The world Football governing body will pay each player at this July’s World Cup $30,000 US. Each player will also earn individual fee for progressing to each stage of the tournament. A Gold medal will see players earning $270,000(K5.4 million). Below is the break down of potential earnings for The Copper Queens this July!

Round of 16: $60,000
Quarter-final: $90,000
4th place: $165,000
🥉: $180,000
🥈: $195,000
🥇: $270,000

This is separate from what Associations like Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) and governments have promised players. Thus representing the largest payout for a women’s football tournament.
