RENOWNED COMEDIAN SINKALA DIES IN CAR ACCIDENT

Renowned Comedian, Brighton Sinkala, has died in a road traffic accident on the Great North Road in Kabwe, near Mulungushi University.
Mr. Sinkala, who was also a Ministry of Health official, is said to have lost control of his vehicle while attempting to overtake another car.
He was travelling from the Copperbelt to Lusaka with his wife, who only sustained injuries.
Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary, Professor Lackson Kasonka, has confirmed the death to Diamond News.
Professor Kasonka says doctors at Kabwe General Hospital performed surgery to contain the excessive bleeding, but Mr. Sinkala died a few hours later while preparations to transfer him to Lusaka were being made.
