Yo Maps drags Mwizukanji to court over Bukata’s custody,
Elton Mulenga populary known as Yo Maps, a Zambian most celebrated singer and music producer has taken a legal step by writing to Lusaka Magistrates court seeking custody of his beloved daughter, Bukata whom he shares with Mwizukanji real names Prudence Nakamba, a renowned social media personality. The most influential and chart topping artist availed to the court that he has always been taking responsibility for Bukata’s well being and ready to raise her in the same place he shares with his wife Kiddist kifle and Bukata’s sister Tendai the daughter to Kiddist kifle. According to Yo Maps, it’s said that he had made countless efforts wanting to spend some time with his daughter Bukata during weekends, holidays and special occasions but unfortunately Mwizukanji has been consistently shuned him access without giving any valid reasons.
To support his custody request the singer Yo Maps submitted Whatsapp conversation as proof of evidence of him trying to be involved and be fully available for his daughter Bukata. In addition to his stance and defense, his wife Kiddist kifle stated that Yo Maps has proven to be a responsible father. She said that together they make sure all school fees, medical bills and any other important expenses for Bukata are paid on time without any delayment.
